The Heart: Covenant Love
At the centre is a heart. Scripture is clear:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart…” (Deuteronomy 6:5)
Jesus reaffirms this as the greatest commandment in Matthew 22:37. Love is not peripheral to the faith, it is the core of it.
The heart in our logo is open at the top. It is not sealed. It is not defensive. It is not bargaining. It represents surrender, not resignation, but yielded trust.
The purple outline speaks of royalty and priesthood. In Scripture, purple was associated with kingship (Judges 8:26) and honour. We love a King. And through Christ, we are made a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).
This is covenant love, not fear-based devotion, not transactional obedience. Under the New Covenant, our relationship with God is not built on earning, appeasing, or persuading Him. It is built on what Christ finished.
The Flame: The Fire Within
Inside the heart burns a flame, in orange and gold.
Orange reflects living fire, vibrant, active, refining.
Gold reflects what has been purified and proven.
Throughout Scripture, fire represents:
- The presence of God (Exodus 3:2)
- The Holy Spirit (Acts 2:3)
- Refinement of faith (1 Peter 1:7)
This flame is not external performance. It burns inside the heart. It speaks of Romans 5:5:
“The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit…”
This is not manufactured passion. It is imparted love. We do not stir ourselves into devotion to earn outcomes. We respond because His love was first poured into us.
The Golden Sweep: The Surrendered Altar and Sacrifice
Beneath the flame rests a golden sweep, symbolic of the altar and sacrifice. In the Old Covenant, fire fell upon the sacrifice which was on the altar. (Leviticus 9:24).
In the New Covenant, we present ourselves:
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice…” (Romans 12:1)
This represents surrender, not surrender of promise, but surrender of control. It is saying:
- I trust Your character.
- I trust Your covenant.
- I trust what Christ finished.
Even when the battlefield is noisy and circumstances contradict promise. When the enemy steals, kills, and destroys (John 10:10). When warfare obscures clarity and outcomes do not align with expectation. “Loving God with No Strings Attached” does not mean lowering faith.
It means separating love from circumstance.
- We believe boldly.
- We ask confidently.
- We expect promise.
And we love Him, not because of outcome, but because of who He is.
The Whole Picture
When you step back, the message becomes clear:
- A royal heart.
- A surrendered altar and sacrifice.
- A flame refined but steady.
This logo declares that love is not dependent on visible victory. It declares that covenant is greater than perception. That promise stands even when warfare rages. That devotion is rooted in revelation, not results.
We do not love God because life is easy. We love Him because He is faithful. We do not worship to persuade Him. We worship because Christ has already secured access.
This is mature love. Love that understands covenant. Love that remains steady when emotions fluctuate.
Love with no strings attached.
